The Technology System Upgrade is set to take place on Labor Day weekend, August 29 - September 1, 2025.

Welcome to the Unity One Credit Union Technology System Upgrade page. We are excited to be bringing our members a better banking experience in 2025.

We've been working hard behind the scenes to prepare our credit union for the future. This upgrade will allow our team to serve you more efficiently, provide enhanced product offerings, and access to a more robust Online Banking platform and Mobile App experience. 

As we upgrade, many of our services will be unavailable. To minimize the impact to you, we have selected a time when we are normally closed – Labor Day weekend. The information below will help you prepare for the changes that are coming.

Upgrade Checklist

Follow our upgrade checklist below to make sure you're prepared. 

  • Verify that Unity One has current contact information for you on file. You can check this through online banking, or by visiting your local branch. 
  • Share information about the upgrade with joint account owners who may not receive the emails and mailings. 
  • Schedule any upcoming bill payments before Friday, August 29. 
  • Finish any loan applications, new account openings, or transfers before Friday, August 29. 

Important Dates for Bill Pay Users

All scheduled and recurring payments set up before August 29 will automatically migrate to the new system. After the system upgrade, we encourage you to log in and verify that your payment details have been accurately transferred.

  • Friday, August 29: Bill Pay access will be disabled, but scheduled payments for this day will still be processed.

  • Tuesday, September 2: The new Bill Pay system will go live, and any scheduled payments from August 30 to September 1 will be processed as planned.

SavvyMoney

We're excited to bring our members the SavvyMoney Credit Score tool in our new online and mobile banking platforms! Members will be able access their credit score, full credit report, credit monitoring, and receive financial tips and education — all without affecting their credit score.

Benefits of the SavvyMoney Credit Score tool include:

Unity One has been successfully operating on our current technology for many years. System upgrades are needed periodically as technology advances and improvements are made to streamline operations. This upgrade will let us provide a better, bolder, online and mobile banking experience for members.

In today’s advanced world of banking technology, there are better technology systems available to handle the needs of both the credit union and our members. This upgrade allows Unity One to offer better products, new account features, faster service, and more secure banking options.

In most cases, your account number and banking information will remain the same. You will still be able to use your current debit card and checks after the upgrade is complete. If there are any changes, we’ll notify you personally, well in advance so that you have time to prepare.

Yes. After the technology upgrade is complete, Unity One members will enjoy a completely new digital banking experience, both on your computer and your mobile device. We look forward to sharing more information about new features soon.

There may be a need to update the mobile app and/or reset your credentials for online banking. Unity One will provide clear instructions on what will be needed as the upgrade date nears.

No. Your transaction history will remain intact, but there may be a delay in accessing information while the system is upgraded.
 

No, the upgrade will not result in any additional fees for you.

No. Loan payments and direct deposits will process as usual. If there are any exceptions or issues that arise, we will notify you as soon as possible.

When you pay a bill to a vendor that requires a mailed check, the money will leave your account only after the vendor cashes the check, which could take several weeks. Please ensure you have enough funds available in your account for when the check is actually cashed, not just on the payment date you set.

Yes, the credit union will be temporary closed at the time of the upgrade. We will provide clear timelines and notices about any closures or changes as we near the change-over date. Please be on the lookout for mailings and emails from Unity One in the coming months to stay aware of important dates.

Yes! Safeguarding your money and personal information is our top priority. The new system includes enhanced security features to protect your data.

The Unity One contact center and our branch support teams will be available to assist you via phone, email, or at your conveniently located branch. Contact information and operating hours during the upgrade will be communicated in advance.

We will send updates through email and place an alert on our website during the upgrade timeframe. Once the upgrade is finished, and all services are fully operational, an updated communication will go out to all members.
